Charles King is a popular subject for the press, and has contributed to many non-profit organizations by drawing attention to their particular cause.  Beyond serving as an eye-catcher for such groups as The Salvation Army and The Denver Children's Museum, Charles has also been featured for his uncanny resemblance in looks and sound to Elvis.

When Charles performed at one of Steve Chuke's extraordinary Elvis Showcases in Cincinnati Ohio, not only did the local television reports praise Charles King, but the Cincinnati Enquirer predominately featured Charles in a beautiful "young Elvis" pose.
